Release Notes:
During the late summer of 2003, A Perfect Circle announced 10
special tour dates across the country to promote the then-upcoming
release of "Thirteenth Step." These tour dates are deemed
"special" because, as big as the band is, they decided to play
extremely small clubs such as the TLA in Philadelphia, PA. The TLA
fits somewhere between 500 and 800 people, with the other venues
on the tour fitting around that many too. With this in mind, it's
no wonder that any bootleggers would get some good quality sound
from their recordings. This particular bootleg was released a few
weeks after the show and exemplifies the quality of sound that one
would expect from a live recording coming from small venues. I'm
not sure whether this is soundboard or not, but it's close being
as good as a person would get from being hooked up to the
equipment. Both the vocals and instruments are clearly heard,
especially after the first few minutes of track 1. In any case,
enjoy this great show!
